Son Heung-Min
Son Heung-Min is widely considered as one of the legendary idols in Korean history and Asia. This great soccer player was born 8 July 1992 in South Korea. Son is a professional footballer playing as a forward for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. The player is also a captain of the South Korea national team. He began his career by joining Hamburger SV at the age of 16.
In 2010, he made his debut in the Germ Bundesliga. Son moved to Bayer Leverkusen in 2013 with his transfer fee of €10 million before signing for Tottenham for £22 million two years later. Song Heung-Min became one of the most expensive Asian players in history. Back in 2019; Son was nominated for the Ballon d'Or, becoming the highest-ever rank so far by an Asian player. He is flawlessly the first Asian players in history to score over 50 goals in the Premier League.

Hamburger SV (2009–2013)
Son was only 16 when he moved to Hamburger SV via the Korean FA Youth Project. Son earned significant goals in Hamburger and was eventually granted an official contract when he turned 18. Son began his remarkable season in scoring against Chelsea. In 2010, he earned his first goal in the Bundesliga against FC Köln. He became the youngest Bundesliga goal scorer for the club. The great player ended his 2010/11 season with Hamburger SV with 3 goals in 14 matches.
Bayer Leverkusen (2013–2015)
In June 2013, Son Heung-min was transferred to Bundesliga side where Bayer Leverkusen purchased him from Hamburger for €10 million. He signed a five-year contract with the club. Son had an incredible performance that he helped his team earn a UEFA Champions League spot. He ended his season with Bayern Leverkusen with 12 goals in 43 games. Likewise, his debut in the second season with Bayer Leverkusen was even more impressive. He managed to score 17 goals in 42 appearances.
Tottenham Hotspurs (2015–present)
In 2015, Tottenham Hotspurs signed Son from Bayer Leverkusen, which cost €30 million. The amount is record-breaking, making him the most expensive Asian footballer. In Tottenham, Son has always been on the top and he helped Spurs move forward to the semifinal of the tournament for the first time since 1962.
Son also became the highest Asian goal scorer in the Champions League. In December, the Asian football star scored a spectacular goal against Burnley in which he could get through 7 opponent players before he earned the most impressive goal. The goal made him win an award “The Goal of the Month.”
